How do I place an order?

To place your order with Facet Furniture, please add items you would like with the variations you prefer  to your cart for a quote. Once you have selected all the items you would like a quote on, put in your contact information on the Finalize Quote page and “place your order”. This will send your quote to us for pricing, and we will review it before the quote will be sent to the email you provide. This may take a few days, depending on our business hours. Additional inquiries can be sent through the contact us form.

What is a trade account?

A trade account is an invitation only account granted to trade professionals such as interior designers, architects, home stagers, retailers, and other similar accredited design professionals. If you are a trade professional and would like to register for a trade account, please contact us at info@facetfurniture.com or reach out to us on social media @facetfurniture. We will be more than happy to share the password required to register for an account.

How do I get pricing for my order?

Pricing is determined based on the options selected for each piece. To get pricing, please build a quote request by adding items to your quote cart and finalizing your quote request for us to review. This quote will be reviewed by a member of our Facet team for pricing, and the quote will be sent to the email you provide within a few days. This itemized quote will give you all the details regarding price and also give you a chance to review your order, before the deposit is put down and the order starts being built. All our furniture is made to order.

What is the expected lead time?

Average lead times are around 8- 12 weeks, but they can vary depending on the size of the order and/or if there are non standard options chosen.  A more precise lead time will be provided in your quote once it has been reviewed and approved.

Can custom designs be created and options be chosen?

If you are interested in having us create a custom design, or explore a custom finish, size or addition to an existing design please contact us here and we will be happy to  discuss your project and to start the creative design process. Communication via phone may be needed as well. There will be a deposit to create the design. This deposit will be credited back once the order is placed.  Extended lead times may apply.

What are the payment terms?

A 50% deposit is required to initiate your order. The balance, including shipping charges and any applicable taxes, is due prior to shipment. Payments can be made by check or credit card.

Can I get material samples?

Yes. Samples and sample chains are available for our material choices. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

What about shipping?

Furniture prices do not include shipping charges. Shipping will be included on your quote once order has been approved.

Typically it is shipped to your business or a local receiver of your choice then delivered to its final destination at your discretion.  

A careful inspection of each piece should be made at the time of delivery. If any damage is found, you must note your bill of lading and confirm the damage with the shipper, so we can take the appropriate action. After pieces have been inspected and placed, the sale is final.

Is the work guaranteed?

At Facet Furniture, we stand behind all of our products. We take pride in knowing that you are receiving a high quality product that has been handcrafted and built to last, under normal use. Each piece is guaranteed against structural defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year after purchase date,  under normal, typical use for the original owner. Should any of these defects arise, we will assess the situation and discuss the best course of action. Because of the hand-made nature of our product, we are not able to offer returns.

We are not responsible for the following:

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods.
  • Damage caused by improper installation or assembly by the customer or the customer’s agent.
  • Damage caused by exposure to weather or improper environment.
  • Changes in the appearance of the hand rubbed finishes or un-lacquered finishes. These are meant to age in appearance.
  • Any costs of installation, removal, or re-installation.
  • Restoration or repair work.

How do I care for my furniture?

All pieces produced by Facet Furniture do not require waxing, oiling, or any specific maintenance but should be cared for. When needed, the furniture should be dusted with a soft microfiber cloth that has a small amount of water, if needed. The use of a furniture polish or oil will cause an irregular film over the surface and is not recommended. NEVER use anything with an abrasive. The use of coasters or placemats is highly recommended when food or drink items are being placed on the surface to help minimize the risk of damage.

Our Living finishes are a natural hand applied finish that will change over time more so than any of out other finished and you may feel the need to apply a natural oil rejuvenator to it periodically (typically once or twice a year) You can purchase this product directly from us.

With as many cleaners and polishers available we cannot guarantee against a problem caused by them and can only recommend what is mentioned above.
